International Maritime Information Systems Global Limited (registered in the United Kingdom as IMIS Global Limited) was formed in 2000 and is headquartered in Fareham, Hampshire.
IMIS Global is a privately held company whose focus from inception has been to provide Maritime Information Systems (MIS) services to governmental and large commercial organisations worldwide. That remains our mission to this day.
The flagship product, MariWeb, was first released in 2004 and first installed in Croatia. It has since been deployed globally. Current customers utilise MariWeb through a variety of commercial models — from Hosted MariWeb (a cloud-based solution) through to fully bespoke, on premises, turnkey projects.
In January 2020, IMIS released the latest MariWeb version, delivering higher performance and a significantly expanded range of features. IMIS continues to develop its product capability to address a wider section of the maritime environment.
IMIS operates a Hosted MariWeb system, which is owned, operated and supported by IMIS in a well-resourced, secure, commercial data centre with all primary services being fully redundant.
IMIS Global is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. The ISO 9001:2015 audits are conducted by an external auditor on a regular basis, ensuring our quality management systems meet the highest international standards.
In support of its Quality Management System and Business Continuity programmes, IMIS develops all software in a version-controlled environment with a range of automated testing. New software is tested on a Quality Assurance system and then released to production.
