MariWeb encodes and decodes all specified AIS-centric messages, enabling a wide range of e-Navigation services to the maritime domain — including MASS and Single Window support.
MariWeb encodes and decodes all specified and registered AIS-centric messages, including the IMO Circular SN.1/289 messages, enabling the provision of a wide range of e-Navigation-type services to the maritime domain. The inclusion of IoT to collect meteorological and hydrographic data — used in the construction and transmission of these IMO messages — significantly enhances the services available.
The ability of MariWeb to create, monitor and manage a wide range of physical and virtual services makes use of all published and available message suites, including those noted in the ITU, IALA and IMO domains.
As the Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) environment continues to grow, the role that e-Navigation services play will change and become refined to support the MASS environment. IMIS actively participates in IALA working groups to ensure MariWeb remains ahead of these developments.
These services are driving the shore-side 'Single Window' concept, in which MariWeb and PortWeb have a significant role to play — consolidating maritime information into a single, integrated portal for port authorities and maritime administrations.
