IMIS has designed and installed a MariWeb system for Shipping and Signalling Systems, a shipping information management company based in Belgium, providing real-time AIS vessel tracking integrated into their port and shipping information management workflows.
Belgium is home to the Port of Antwerp, one of the largest and busiest ports in Europe. MariWeb 's web-enabled interface allows operators to access AIS data through a standard browser without specialist client software.
