IMIS has worked alongside Navico to integrate the Navico Halo range of solid state radars with MariWeb . This allows MariWeb to collect vessel position, speed over ground and course over ground from ships that do not carry AIS. The capability is designed for ports, inland waterways and marinas.
The Navico Halo solid state radars offer significant advantages over traditional magnetron radars, including lower power consumption, instant-on operation and reduced interference. Integration with MariWeb provides a comprehensive picture of maritime traffic regardless of AIS carriage.
