IMIS Global has supplied MariWeb version 5 to the Comisión Administradora del Río de la Plata (CARP) for the monitoring of vessel traffic and dredging activities on the Rio De La Plata.
The Rio De La Plata is the estuary formed by the confluence of the Uruguay and Paraná rivers, forming the border between Argentina and Uruguay. It is one of the busiest waterways in South America, with significant commercial shipping and dredging operations. The MariWeb deployment enables CARP to maintain a comprehensive maritime picture of all AIS-equipped vessels operating in the estuary.
