The standards compliant MariWeb version 7 has been installed for the Canadian Coast Guard, connecting more than 100 redundant AIS base stations distributed nationally. The system connects 12 regional systems to a redundant central environment that processes, stores and distributes all received AIS data.
Canada's national AIS network is one of the largest in the world by geographic coverage, spanning both Atlantic and Pacific coasts as well as the Great Lakes and St Lawrence Seaway. MariWeb version 7 provides the performance and scalability required to manage this extensive network.
