IMIS attended the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Nav18 conference and, along with Australian Maritime Systems, displayed the MariWeb web-enabled Electronic Chart System (ECS) that allows real-time display of AIS data in a standard Internet browser.
The updated ECS is available as a front end for MariWeb version 7, allowing operators to view AIS tracks overlaid on S-57 electronic navigational charts, raster charts or Google Maps without specialist client software. The Nav18 conference brings together maritime safety professionals, technology providers and regulatory bodies across the Asia-Pacific region.
